Going from Requirements to Stories

leave a comment »

I was reading a post by Agile Joe on defining requirements and stories. It addresses an interesting problem on a project and talks a little to the need to define requirements on larger projects. If you’ve ever worked with an agile tool such as TargetProcess, such “feature” tracking is implicit in the process and it becomes natural to roll stories into those features. But in the end, it’s all about doing what is necessary to get the project done.

I was one of the 18 developers lucky enough to work on the project described in Joe’s post. I can’t say enough that if it wasn’t for Joe, the project wouldn’t have gotten to where it was. His passion for all things xDD, Agile, and just plain cool technology really shows through on a daily basis and always with a joke or two.

Follow his thoughts on his blog. He knows his ShiDD!

Another interesting blog that I encountered was one by Chris Donnan. I was researching Guidance Automation Extensions and Spring, but came upon this post. All in all, a terrific summary of Core Software Development values… and yet another interesting blog to keep up with!
